i'm starting to think that maybe part of the reason why trans ppl become assimilationist (apart from the obvious reason, that being internalised transmisia) is that it's the only alternative is living in a bubble in which the echoes of transmisia are constantly bouncing aound your ears in the form of un-cw'ed posts and/or topics

which ofc is kinda reductionist and not rlly entirely true but like. i think it's at least a factor. or smth. idk i don't know too much about this either and don't wanna dig into zines about the topic either so idk.
